These skates are ideal for a low profile feel with a shallow heel pocket, low instep and min ankle wrap. The 2017 Bauer Vapor X300 skates feature an injected comp weave quarter package. This quarter package (along with the microfiber liner and anaform foam ankle pads) provides a good level of protection and comfort. This skate has an anatomical 2 piece felt tongue for a good level
