Chateau La Dominique skus_4425544 Blackberry plumThe wine has a medium depth of darkly pigmented ruby red color. The aromas are currently quite dumb & closed in. Plumy red fruit on the palate has drying coffeeish notes. Fine grained tannins currently close up the mid palate. The wine is of mid weight with fresh acidity & balanced alcohol. The finish is quite drying & a little attenuated, but is of reasonable length. The fruit should open with age as the tannins soften.
