The Elf Lord’s Lament CH While envisioned as just twoFor 8ft recorder ensemble, originally written to be played by the Mellow Tones Recorder Orchestra and then received its performance premiere at Frome Festival by Phoenix Recorder Orchestra in 2023. This piece sees our Elf Lord back in Aelfheim after his time here in Midgard was done. We start with a solemn procession, followed by the lament.
