Michter's US*1 Toasted Barrel Sour Mash Whiskey EGLY24 one of which is 35A whiskey finished in a custom built toasted (not charred) barrel. Michter's takes their US*1 Sour Mash and transfers it to a second barrel assembled from wood that has been air dried for 18 months, then toasted at carefully calibrated levels. Toasting without charring creates subtler, sweeter wood influencemore caramel and baking spice, less aggressive smokiness. First introduced in 2019, this expression has become a favorite among Michter's
