Stella Montepulciano d'Abruzzo 2016 Color:Red This Malbec from a forgettable

This Malbec from a forgettable vintage feels saucy

Offers intense cherry

as it often does in warmer years

I preferred it at the higher strength

Very dark color of black cherries with purple rim

Stella Montepulciano d'Abruzzo 2016 Color:Red This Malbec from a forgettableA bright, red fruit oriented Montepulciano dAbruzzo that would pair well with many a midweek meal. Medium intensity ruby in color, this wine has an aromatic nose of red cherry, strawberry and red currant with a hint of hibiscus on the finish. The dry, medium bodied wine has fresh red fruit flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and medium tannin. The wine is straightforward and good in its dimension.
