Edwardian Platinum Peridot and Diamond Tie Pin feed-agegroup-adult The brooch part was laterAn elegant Edwardian tie pin featuring a vibrant oval cut peridot paired with a twinkling old cut diamond, set in platinum with a 9ct gold pin. The asymmetric, stylised drop design gives it a touch of playful movement while remaining supremely refined. Peridot, the birthstone of August, was believed to ward off nightmares and bring the wearer peace and prosperity. Its vivid green glow was prized in Edwardian jewellery for its light, uplifting quality.
