Rocky Slope Notecards This piece is one inWatercolor on canvas, framed 12 x 9 If you have ventured to the northern end of the Valley of the Sun, you have certainly seen the wonderful rock formations and raw desert present near Pinnacle Peak and Lone Mountain. I love hiking in these areas because of the rocky architecture. The play of light and shadow on the boulders along with the beautiful desert plants and saguaro cacti make an interesting juxtaposition of hard and soft edges.
