This unit was used specifically on electric start models which had a powerhead with a special extended length crankshaft

So we took it apart and found that the bowl was starting to corrode in some of the passages and the metal "float" was siezed in it's chamber

Found On varioud 50hp / 60hp / 70hp ***3-CYLINDER*** outboard applications 1996-1998 Also Found on some random outboard iterations 1999 / 2000 & 2001 (like 40hp Jet / 60hp Electric Start w/ T n' T & 70hp Electric Start w/ T n' T)
