This is nicely ripe with dark, fleshy, Bing and pie cherry fruit and accents of crushed flowers, fresh earth, and spice. The year in used oak has rounded off the rough edges, but there's still a pleasing, hearty, grip and fine freshness on the fleshy finish. Roast a chicken and dig in.
