It has a low wide belly, a long flared neck, a pie crust spout, a sweeping hook shaped handle and is decorated with Egyptian style designs. The base is inscribed with the number 9 and the letter R. It was skillfully made by artisans in in the Middle East, probably Egypt in the 1960s. I would advise that this pitcher should only be used as a vase or for display. Not food safe.
