Hayward Diffuser | SPX2800B Pool Cover Pumps Easy installation with straightforward mountingWhat This Part Is Used For The Hayward SPX2800B is a diffuser used inside compatible Hayward pump wet ends. It surrounds the impeller and guides water through the internal flow path. This part is installed behind the strainer housing area as part of the pumps hydraulic assembly. Why This Part Matters A worn or cracked diffuser reduces efficiency and can change filter pressure readings. Poor internal flow can lead to weak returns and noisy operation.
