Seventh Season by Will Barnet , 1911-2012: Limited Edition Seriograph bar ware (2) Smaller: 25"H x 15"W33 1 4W x 45 1 4H x 2D "Seventh Season," a 1975 serigraph by Will Barnet, depicts a stylized scene of a woman, likely his daughter, playing chess with an unseen figure (possibly the artist himself). The composition features color blocked figures in a muted interior, with a dark palette and monochromatic backgrounds that create a sense of mystery and foreboding. A cat is perched on the window sill, adding another layer of visual interest and symbolism.
