Vice Rei Aniz Escarchado Color:default Wine making: Maceration at 25°CThe Portuguese anis escarchado is distinguishable from other anis cordials by the aniseed branch that is inserted into every bottle. The sugar in the anis crystalizes around the branch giving it the look of a crystalized tree. This cordial may be mixed into specialty cocktails or served very chilled on its own. The Montanha brand is produced in the city of Anadia, Portugal by Caves da Montanha, one of the most prestigious wineries in Portugal.
