This magnificent Victorian ring (circa 1830 1850) features a hand painted profile of a woman wearing a crown set under glass. The portrait is simple, but beautifully rendered. It is framed by 32 closed back rose cut diamonds. The top of the ring is 18k gold, while the shank (which appears to be a later replacement) is 10k. The face of the ring measures 0. 7 inches
