I photographed this section of the creek for about an hour coming away with some beautiful images of the box elder trees and their reflection onto the creek

A view of a frozen LaSalle Canyon Falls from behind with an amazing aqua color present during this February morning at Starved Rock State Park

The red color sandstone is do to hematite or iron oxide (rust)
