Museum of Liverpool Exterior Size:11"x14" I arrived to the location

I arrived to the location just prior to dusk I look at some vantage points and then started photographing as it got dark

With the age of the wooden storage structure I got close to capture the details of the wood and metal rings which were starting to rust

As I walked up the steps to the State of Utah Capitol Building I noticed the leading line to the sizable building as the clouds started to part to allow some blue sky to appear as the storm rolled out of town

One of the biggest challenges photographing in the snow is to keep the lens clear of snow

By using a small depth of field (f/22) and placing the sun right at the end of the sculpture it provides the star effect in the image and also helps eliminate some of the sun glare

Museum of Liverpool Exterior Size:11"x14" I arrived to the locationAs I approached the Museum of Liverpool with overcast skies I was immediately taken in with the exterior of the building and how well it worked along the River Mersey. I first went into the building to learn more about Liverpool itself prior to photographing the building with the many angles it provided. For this image I zoomed into the building and let the lines take control of the image with the repeating lines and patterns throughout the image.
