The wall behind the Z06 was based on a very faded sign in Dallas advertising a defunct railroad named the Texas and Pacific

I’ve always considered that Concept Car one of the most significant Corvettes in history

"Icons" 1963-1967 I grew up in KirksvilleFor Icons I created a painting featuring all five years of the Mid Year Series of Corvettes. I pictured Corvettes owned by friends and created a background wall that celebrates my boyhood fascination with collecting Baseball Cards. The horizontal 1956 card designs are for some of my personal heroes Stan Musial, Ted Williams, and Mickey Mantle.
