de Montille, Meursault Perrieres Blanc Vintage:2023 crisp yellow orchard fruit

crisp yellow orchard fruit

this remains a seriously lovely effort that is classy and stylish if not perfectly balanced

The clarity and transparency are superb in this young red with blackberries

Silky and surprisingly approachable for the vintage

This is perhaps a bit less mineral-driven than it usually is but this aspect may very well become more evident with age

de Montille, Meursault Perrieres Blanc Vintage:2023 crisp yellow orchard fruit(from a . 45 ha parcel). Notes of smoky mineral reduction, lemon grass and acacia blossom precede highly energetic and more mineral driven if less concentrated and powerful middle weight flavors that possess a highly refined and sophisticated texture. The tightly wound, youthfully austere and bone dry finish is textbook Perrires and while it could use a bit more overall depth, the underlying material appears to be very promising.
