I headed back down the road and went up Trail Ridge Road where at tree line I emerged from the clouds

As I photographed from this location I noticed the black and white verticals and horizontals in a building nearby

I had driven past this location in Glacier National Park many times while in the park in 2007 as well as the winter of 2008

With some high clouds in the sky

Lines in the Sand Size:8"x10" I headed back down theWhat I like about this image is the abstract feel of the sand which I captured. The shallow depth of field helps obscure the real perspective of the size of the sand in the image. This allows the viewer to come to their own conclusion of the scene and allows them to interpret it in their own manner which can also change over time.
