Bouquet N°4 September collection The surface of the canvasOil on canvas signed Paul Louis Mestrallet and dated 1922 (1886 1961). Emotion is vivid in this example of Mestrallet's painting with brush strokes that are both thick and compact. There is a beautiful movement in the composition and a lot of perspective thanks to the volumes and texture in the foreground. The palette is uniform with some play of shadows turning to burnt orange. About the artist: Paul Louis Mestrallet, a French impressionist painter
