While East High School opened in 1875 and was the first high school in Denver

The falling snow helped hide the background in the park which let me capture just the trees as the focal element in this image with fresh snow

I have been to the Salton Sea area a couple of times and have always been interested with the area and also the development which existed there in the past

It was a still morning with some clouds in the area this year

Growth from the Park Building For this photograph I hadDuring a spring snowstorm, I was walking through Cheesman Park when I noticed the skyline of Denver towering over some of the trees in the park. With a fresh layer of wet snow the trees were more so dressed like winter versus the month on the calendar. Cheesman Park may be a mile from downtown, but it provides ample opportunity to combine the elements of the park and the city.
