I fought the urge to sleep in and woke up in time to capture the first sunrise over Denver

there was still a chill in the air and the frozen lake shows that the temperatures were below freezing

The start of a new year is usually marked by sleeping in late due to the celebration from the prior night heading into the early hours of January 1st

There are plenty more instances of this in the Denver area

Minimalist Facade in Toronto Flowers Not too long after IWalking through Toronto I noticed an interesting building in the distance. As I neared the Schwartz Reisman Innovation Campus which is part of the University of Toronto I looked for patterns in this interesting facade. By zooming in on the building it allowed me to capture a part of the building which transitioned from the exterior to the lower level of the building which has a higher volume of traffic.
