Angostura 1919 Rum 70cl Irish Whiskey deeply aromatic and perfumed withAngostura 1919 Rum carries a story rooted in Trinidads rummaking heritage. Its name comes from a warehouse fire in 1932 that destroyed much of the islands ageing stock. When the surviving barrels were opened, they were found to contain rum distilled in 1919, and the blend created from them became the inspiration for this modern expression. Todays 1919 isnt from that original batch, of course, but its crafted to echo its smooth, mellow character
