With the morning mist in the area filtering the light I quickly found a parking spot and captured images of the scene as the started to rise

When I arrived at a popular location to photograph Denver I noticed there were clouds to the east of downtown Denver

What drew me to take this picture was the curving line amongst the layers of ice on the berg

I soon came across a tree with many pine cones where I spent some time taking pictures. With the fresh snow in the tree and a small blanket of snow as a background this was one of my favorites from the images I took. The folded card is 5"x7" and the inside of the holiday card has the greeting: Happy Holidays and Best Wishes for the New Year
