The mansion itself is in a residential area not too far from the capitol building

Later that evening I visited the same location and captured the scene under a full moon with some of the twilight still apparent on the horizon

After photographing in La Jolla I headed down to Mission Beach and found a street light along the boardwalk which was still on even though the sun had been up for about an hour

across to Douglas Island as well as north towards the airport and Chilkat Mountains

Frost on a Leaf Size:20"x30" The mansion itself is inAs I walked down a trail in Juneau in late fall, I looked down and noticed in an area the frost still on the leaves late into the day. It was a week of cold temperatures as the lake by Mendenhall Glacier had frozen over in just a couple of days. As I slowed down to check out the area I looked for some some full leaves to photograph and capture the frost as a first sign of winter in southeast Alaska.
