2021 | I. Brand & Family Bates Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon | Santa Cruz Mountains Berardenga Girolamo Russo's Etna Rosato isIan Brand makes the 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Old Vine from a 900 acre ranch outside of Gilroy. Sumptuous, supple, and slatey throughout, it has tension and texture, showing Brand's roots in making wines of an old school style through modern winemaking. Dried herb, currant, and dusty tannins combine around a medium bodied, highly structured mid palate of elegant and finesse. 94 Pts Jeb Dunnuck
