Chateau Pradeaux 'Vespree' Rose, Vin de France 2021 Gran Reserva berry fruit-forwardA blend of 95% Mourvdre and 5% Cinsault that spent a year on the lees in a demi muid and concrete egg, Pradeaux's 2020 Bandol Ros Vespree is a special effort. Loaded with cherry fruit, it's even richer and rounder than the regular bottling, yet it retains a wonderful sense of freshness to balance the lush, almost creamy mouthfeel and lingering finish. Future vintages will eschew the demi muid in favor of concrete eggs. 94 Pts Wine Advocate (2020
