Mile High Reflection Presentation:Matted In late summer 2009 I

In late summer 2009 I took part in a Team in Training event which included a final hike in Rocky Mountain National Park

this bridge has drawn much use as well as many individuals photographing the cable-stayed bridge

With the warm temperatures the few days before this the accumulated snow did not amount to much but even so I grabbed my camera and headed out into the city

Using the conditions I spent a good amount of time photographing from the shoreline and capturing the mood

This was the first time walking across this new bridge which opened up recently with the completion of the Union Station renovation

Mile High Reflection Presentation:Matted In late summer 2009 IThere are many indicators of Denver being the Mile High City, but the one most known is on the steps of the State Capitol. As I walked by the capitol after some earlier rain, I noticed a puddle on the steps and the reflection being cast when standing in one position. The puddle was in a perfect spot to frame the steps with the reflection of the step stating "One Mile Above Sea Level".
