“The Red Devil” is the newest in my Shelby Mustang Series

Three of the Corvettes are ones I owned at the time:  the Callaway convertible backed up to the service bay

The wall behind the Z06 was based on a very faded sign in Dallas advertising a defunct railroad named the Texas and Pacific

and a few still exist

I chose Watkins Glen for the setting
