After photographing around Bear Lake at sunrise I hike a little over a mile to Dream Lake

while the dots on the path is the beacon light

Colorado Mountains from Interstate 70 Size:11"x14" The 4th of July inAs you climb on Interstate 70 west from Denver you will quickly find yourself in the mountains. After climbing in elevation at the exit for Genesee you are treated to a view of the Rocky Mountains which always gets your attention. After a spring snow storm in Denver I headed up to this spot to capture the scene with snow covered mountains.
