Bridge Not Taken Building I came across some frost

I came across some frost on the rocks by the water

Numerous cruise ships in port and the float planes arriving from their tours of the area

I had driven past this location in Glacier National Park many times while in the park in 2007 as well as the winter of 2008

As the early light made its way through the light fog in the valley I found an interesting shoreline to capture the soft light as well as the reflection on the quiet ponds

Bridge Not Taken Building I came across some frostAs I rode the White Pass & Yukon Route one summer I captured this image of an old bridge. From the distance you could see the high trestle bridge, however it was not until we got much closer you could understand why we were not going to cross this bridge. With the character of the bridge and the midday sunlight, I made this a black and white image to tell the story of time as we passed by the bridge on the new tracks.
