I would be inclined to drink the ’04 Corton over the first 10 years of its life (even though it will survive much longer) as I’m not sure that the fruit will ultimately outlast the structure

Discreet wood influence sets off spicy and ripe yet admirably fresh black fruit and warm earth aromas that precede the rich, seductively textured and palate staining flavors that possess good volume and a taut muscularity on the long and powerful finish. This is an elegant Echzeaux though presently it is backwards,
