Highway 6 can be busy with traffic heading to the casinos and other mountain locations west of Golden

I was looking for a different vantage point for this scene and as I was walking through Civic Center park noticed how it was possible to capture the lights through the trees

I also wanted to explore the area in a different manner as well

The 4th of July in the United States is a time to celebrate the birthday of the country which includes firework displays

to the fields across the lake with livestock all the way up Hahn's Peak with a hint of snowfall it was just a perfect scene that afternoon

As I waited for the sun to set I looked behind me and saw the rainbow complimented with some nice warm light on a pleasant January afternoon. It was great to have my feet in the sand and enjoy the sun as it soon headed down with a small bit of color on that evening.
