passers by my display started to ask if I had seen an older car for sale in the fair grounds

as the paperwork had to be handled by a dealer

I pictured Corvettes owned by friends and created a background wall that celebrates my boyhood fascination with collecting Baseball Cards

The title reflects the graphics on the side of the car

Which is located just outside of Joplin

It is home of the Original Double Deck Hamburger and has the larger than life Shoneys Big Boy near the entrance to the restaurant. Palm trees, sidewalk tables, and umbrellas make a perfect setting.
