E Guigal Cote Rotie 75cl Beef and Venison It reveals an intense noseDescription Cote Rotie is where it all started for Guigal, so this has always been a special wine in the portfolio. 4% of Viognier is co fermented with the Syrah as is the tradition of Cote Rotie. The wine then spends an impressive 36 months in Oak barrels (50% new). This is a wine of decadence with concentrated dark fruits aromas combining with notes of vanilla and white pepper. The palate is rich but with a fine line of acidity keeping it lively.
