Description

500-liter oak foudres

This terrific effort displays a really lovely interplay between power and finesse and I particularly like the harmony of structural elements

with gobs of glycerin

but some of the nasty tannins in this vintage are beginning to make their presence known on the palate

Considering some of the great old vintages from the fifties and sixties
