These particular examples were produced in 1984. Their design features a sculptural solid oak bentwood frame. The seat and back are upholstered in Sunar pink fabric. These chairs came from the IBM Headquarters in Armonk, which was designed by Skidmore, Owings, and Merrill (SOM) Architects, under project lead Gordon Bunshaft and Davis Allen likely
