80 grit to start to reveal the layers and I usually go up to 1200 and clear coat it to finish it

These scales were leftover from Barry Wood's shop when he was doing production knives in the 1970s

These all came from an old-timer who was one of the first people to become obsessed with vintage synthetic materials
