Loetz, Bohemia. Iridescent glass vase in blue and copper tones. Approx. 1920s. geo 0 cm x L 11Loetz iridescent glass vase. Striking vase in mouth blown glass with a strong iridescent surface in blue and copper tones. The form is hourglass shaped with a wide, funnel shaped rim and a narrower waist. The vertical ribbed structure and metallic colour play are characteristic of Loetz production in the 1920s, when more geometric and clearly articulated forms replaced the earlier, more organic art nouveau style.
