1948 George Nakashima for Knoll Associates N-12 Extension Dining Table in Birch Design Objects originally designed in 1954Listed for sale is a very early, rare N 12 extension dining table, designed by George Nakashima and produced by Knoll Associates. This is one of the earliest examples of furniture produced by George Nakashima, as he collaborated with Knoll only during the easiest part of his career in furniture. Pieces by Knoll were produced prior to Nakashima establishing himself within his own studio practice. Between the late 1940's and early 1950's, pieces
