Antique “Strawberry Red” Philite Scales 5" x 1 1/2" x .19 Dimensions: 10 1/4” x 6Philite is very similar to Bakelite, just manufactured by the Philips company. Use sharp tools belts to prevent chipping. Try to keep cool during grinding to prevent movement as this material has no substrate. It is completely resin based. If it does however move or bend at all just warm it back up and clamp it flat. Polishes like glass! Dimensions: 5 x 1 1 2" x . 19" each (set of 2 scales)
