This lovely image was inspired by a photograph taken by the very talented Paula Beaumont of a lovely cow called Molly. This linocut was an amazing learning curve for me, I wanted to create something more akin to an etching than a relief print. I was focussed on the light, texture and tone, I wanted to capture the real character of a highland cow without it being twee. I feel like I have achieved this. The
