I don't think I've captured the orange quite right

From the glaze and handwriting this piece is from the late 1930s to early 1940s

There looks to be a glaze colour miss on the rim but it’s under a clear glaze

Starting with these delightful 1960's in wonderful vintage condition pieces

often used as a paperweight
