The Dome and Gardens at Castle Howard, Yorkshire (Limited Edition Giclée Print) Size:26 x 20cm Mounted I set up my easelPainted outside sitting in front of the sweeping pathway which leads to the magnificent Castle Howard stately home near York. I created the trees and shrubs in this picture using moss, leaves and twigs to dip into acrylic paint and apply to the watercolour paper. I captured the contrasting colours of the changing leaves in September. The tower of the dome is guilded in 24 carat real gold leaf which shimmers when the light captures it. Size: Various
