An Unusual Pair of Early 20thC Stone Garden Pixies c.1930 reserved The generously proportioned walnut carcassOrigin: EnglishPeriod: Early 20thCProvenance: UnknownDate: c. 1930Height: 25Width: 9Depth: 11 (each)The rare and highly blithe pair of stone garden pixies, each sat crossed legged on naturalistic tree stumps with mischievous smiles and pointed hats and ears, surviving from the second quarter of the twentieth century. The pixies are well patinated and covered in years of garden lichen with both having had repairs, which is actually reassuring of age.
