Deny the Deep | Fine Art Print red even when everything says you

even when everything says you should

Maybe healing doesn’t always look like forward

and endless geometric glimmers

Flames to Embers is for the evenings when healing arrives quietly

A woman floats in a stormy sea

Deny the Deep | Fine Art Print red even when everything says youA woman floats in a stormy sea, hand reaching toward the sky, expression unreadable. Her dress, ill fitting armor, weighs her down. She is composed but hauntingly still. Deny the Deep is a portrait of quiet unraveling, the moment just before awakening, when the surface is still in sight, but the depthless dark beckons. Painted at a personal breaking point, this was the first oil piece in a series that became my way back to myself. Soundtrack: Smoky
