I have crafted a length of vintage black and white ribbon into a choker with a black beaded edge and added two red eye brooches which can be worn as part of the piece or separately on the lapels of a jacket

It was beautiful but all very brown and black and I felt it needed a shot of colour and a new look. I started laying out the central motif and then went from there cutting and arranging sections to the background which is a fabulous yellow ochre felt.
