Specifically, when you pour tea with a side handle kyusu, you do so in small amounts dividing up the tea between the cups so that they are even in strength of flavor. The side handle is meant to allow quick wrist rotation so you can quickly pour our the tea in small amounts. Made with beautiful white porcelain by artisans in Hasami Village, Nagasaki, a
