Flying Maenad fresco poster Select size:12 x 16 in Building a wall with colorThis flying Maenad looks like she is floating right off the wall. She holds a traditional staff and a ribbon, caught in a graceful dance move that defies gravity. The deep red background creates a bold contrast that immediately grabs your attention. It is amazing how much movement the artist captured here. She looks like she is midway through the best party of antiquity. We printed this on heavy matte paper to do justice to that famous Pompeian red.
